With Amaziograph everybody is an Artist!

アメジオグラフはiPad専用アプリ（2016年11月時点）。シンメトリーな図形を誰でも手軽に描ける。アップルペンシルを使って、とても細かい描写をすることも可能。通常、シンメトリー（左右もしくは上下対照）なイラストを描くには、反対側も描きこまないといけないので、時間がかかる。このアプリはいったん書き込んだ部分を、反対側にひっくり返したように自動的に対照に描いてくれる。様々なイラストやラインを半分や4分の1、30分割したエリアに自動的に描きこんでくれる夢のようなアプリケーションだ！

出来上がる図形はとても綺麗で、グラフィックを仕事にしている私も強烈に惹かれた。まさに誰もがアーティストになれるアプリ。


【１】最初にアプリを購入してiPadにアプリを入れる。
iPadの画面にamaziographのアイコンができたらタップしてみよう。

【２】難しい説明は何もない
左上のプラス（+）マークをペンでクリックするとアメジオグラフで描く図形の種類が表示される。アップルペンシルを使ってイラストを描けるが、指で描くこともできる。もしかしたらアップル純正じゃないiPad用のタッチペンでも同様に描くことができるのかもしれない。

（１）一番上の no symmetry　というアイコンは普通にイラストを描けるボタン
（２）二番目のMirror（蝶のイラスト）のアイコンは1軸対象の図形を描くボタン。左右対象や、上下対象、斜めにも対象のイラストを描くことができる。イラストは描いてる途中でも詳細を変更しながら描き続けることができる。
（３）2-Mirror Kaleidosopeのアイコンは中心から徐々に広がっていくタイプのボタン。
（４）Rotationのアイコンは、中心から回転しながら広がるタイプ
（５）3-Mirror Kaleidosopeのアイコンは３方向に広がるタイプ
（６）その他　あと６種類のアイコンがあるがここまできたらあとは自分でイラストを描きながら覚えていくといい。言葉よりも実際に描いて感じる方が覚えるのが速いだろう。
実際に私が描く様子をムービーでアップしてみる。

【　カラーリング　】
描く線や、部分部分の塗りつぶしは色を変えることが可能。また色を混ぜることもできる。やり方次第ではまったくのオリジナルを作ることができるだろうし、個性がある人は作り込めば、自分の特徴をしっかりイラストに盛り込むことができる。




【　消しゴム　】
いらない線は消しゴムで、あっ！というまに消せる。

【　フィニュッシュ　】
描き終わったら自然とcollectionsという画面に描いたイラストが保存される。右上のeditというボタンを使えば、描いたイラストの管理（削除やコピー等）ができる。普通にフォルダを作ってその中に入れていけば自分の作品倉庫の出来上がり。作った画像はメールやメッセージでも送ることができる。

【　保存　】iPadの設定からamaziographを選択して、写真にiPadの写真に保存することも可能。

デザイン用のアプリをゲットしたので試してみた。

写真やグラフィックデザインは動画で公開したことがない。撮影する技術がないからだ。このアプリなら、デザインするダイナミクスが伝わるかもしれないと感じ、頑張って撮影してみた。動画をあげる知識がないので、少しづつ実験します。

このお店の看板かっこいい。自転車で走ってる時にみつけて、いったん自転車から降りてリュックからカメラを取り出し、一番いいアングルを探して撮影した。かっこいい看板があると、急いでる時でもつい撮影してしまう。この看板はうまく撮影できた。

最近はごつい車ばっかりに目がいく。昔は小さいオープンカーに憧れたけど、今は荷物を沢山運ぶので大きな車に惹かれてしまう。この車はディフェンダーという名前の4WD。今日、近所の駐車場にとまってたイギリスの車。すごく素敵だ。でも今年で生産終了とのこと。新車で手に入れるには今年いっぱいくらいがチャンスかもしれない。

小さな時の友達は今の感覚と違う感覚だった。私は少し変わっていたのか、いつも自分は孤独だと感じていて大人になるときには「その孤独を楽しんでしまう」自分に変わっていた。今でもその感覚は自分の中に埋もれている。いろんなことを一緒に楽しめる友達は毎日を楽しくする。

バイクはいろいろな部品から構成されてる。部分部分を切り取って撮影すると、各部の詳細がわかって面白い。美しいバイクがあれば、いろんな角度からたくさん撮影したくなる。

都会に住んでると地平線まで届くような構図はなかなかない。線路や道路はそういった点ではいい被写体で、場所と条件さえ整えばとりあえず撮影する。綺麗に中心に向かって伸びる直線が気持ちいい。

どこの街にもある信号。人や車などの流れを明かりで操作して、街を操作する役目を持つ機械。信号もずっと撮影してるといろんな形があるがあることに気がつく。待つ時間が分かるタイプも最近は増えてきた。上を見上げた時に面白い形をしてると撮影することが多い。35mmの古いレンズが家にあったので、試しに使ってみた。いろいろテストしてみないとわからないからね。

透き通ったブルーのウォッカボトル。透明なものはすぐに撮影したくなる。グラスや、ボトル、窓、電球、いろんな光が反射したり、透き通ったりして面白い。

一般的に、一番よく撮影されてる被写体はもしかしたら花かもしれない。写真を始めるまで、自分が花の写真を撮るなんて考えもしなかった。毎日、犬の散歩をするのでそのついでに写真撮影をする。すると自然に公園に行くことになる。他に撮影するものがなくしかたがないので公園にある花を撮影する。こんな状況だ（笑）。

興味がまったくなかったので、知識ゼロの花。しかし毎日、公園に足を運び、毎日丁寧に観察するようになるといろんな花の種類があることに気がつく。咲いてるサイクルが短いので、あれが咲き終わったら、次はあの花。その次はあの花となかなか忙しい。花の撮影もなかなかコツがいる。

自分が撮りたい花が良い方向を向いてくれないと良い写真にならない。

自分が向きを変えてうまく構図に収まれば良いが、そうできない状況も沢山ある。撮りたい花に綺麗な光が当たってないとこれまた良い写真にならない（笑）。なかなか難しい。

【 写真の加工方法 01 】

ショップの店頭に飾ってあった花。逆光で撮影したものをセピア処理。アイフォンとかにも手軽に使える写真加工用のガジェットが入ってるのでほんとんどの人は色々加工して楽しんでるはず。

撮影した写真をいじりすぎて、もはや何の写真かわからないくらい別の写真のすることも可能だ。明るさの調整とか、色の調整とか、いっぱいあるので、始めたばかりはどうすればいいのかわからないかもしれない。でも根気よく続けてると、撮影した写真に自分らしさがでるよう仕上がるようになる。写真の加工はいくつか種類がある。自分がやっている最低限の加工を並べてみる。

【　１　】モノクロ？　カラー？　セピア？

撮った写真をどういう色の形で保存して公開するかを最初に決める。カラーで撮った写真をモノクロに変換してみると「かっこいい！」となることも多い。モノクロ写真のみでウェブ公開してる人もたくさんいる。もとの写真をキープしておきたいときは別名で保存しておくと、次回加工するときにオリジナルからやり直せる。撮影した写真をカラーにするか、モノクロにするかを決めることは、結構大切。カラーとモノクロ（グレースケールと呼ばれることもある）の他にもセピアやクラシックカメラ風とかいろんなエフェクトがあるけど、基本はカラー、もしくはモノクロ。

【　２　】明るさとコントラストを修正する

撮った写真が明るすぎたり、暗すぎたりしたらまずここを修正する。

暗い写真でもある程度明るさをあげればしっかりした写真に戻ることがある。明るさを調整した後、クッキリ感を強調したい場合はコントラストを調整する。自分で「これくらいかな」と思う明るさやコントラストがでる部分まで調整する。この部分の「このくらいかな」が大事。それが自分自身のセンスなので大切にしてほしい。

コントラスト調整がわかりづらい場合は一番強調した状態から少しづつ弱くしていくといい。回数を繰り返してると自分の感覚が身についてくる。フォトショップ等には自動明るさ調整や自動コントラスト調整するボタンが用意されてる。「一般的にはこんな感じですよ」という目安みたいなものだ

【　３　】トーンカーブ

色の調整や明るさをトーンカーブ調整で済ませることもできる。実際、私は最初のうちフォトショップのトーンカーブ調整のみでほとんど写真を処理するだけで済ませてきた。「こんな言葉知りません」という方はスルーしてください（笑）。

トーンカーブはいろんな方向に微妙に調整できる。自分にあったトーンカーブラインを見つけることができれば、それが自分の感覚だと理解できるようになる。

＊　基本的には白黒にするかカラーにするかを決めて、コントラストと明るさを調整するだけで、過去の作品をアップしてる。プロフェッショナルになると、複雑な加工方法も沢山ある。が、私は自分の写真を多くウェブにアップすることを優先したいのでなるべく加工する必要がないように心がけてる。

最初のうちは写真を加工することにとても時間がかかった。撮影した写真が自分の感覚と違うからだ。なので納得するまで時間をかけて加工する。次の日も次の日も同じことを繰り返してたが、ある日をふと気がついた。カメラやレンズを自分の好みのものを見つけることができると、加工時間が圧倒的に少なくなった。ほぼ撮ったままで加工をする必要がないからだ。これにはとても驚いた。

研究するには時間がかかるし、すべてのカメラやレンズを使ってみることなどできるはずがない。写真が素敵だなと思ったら、そのフォトグラファーが使っているカメラやレンズを聞いたりして調べてみるといい。同じカメラを使っても生まれる写真はその人のセンスで全く違うものになるが、自分の撮影した写真を自分の感覚（センス）に近づけていくためにはその方法しかない。カメラやレンズ、写真の加工、ひとつひとつの事柄が混ざり合って1枚の写真が生まれる。その過程を自分なりに楽しみたい。

バイクは面白い。転ぶと大怪我するので命がけで運転する。雨が降ると濡れるし、風も直接体で受ける。二輪なのでスリップで転倒することもある。でもアクセルをひねれば確実に死に到達するスピードまであっという間に体を吹っ飛ばす。この緊張感が好きだ。麻薬みたいなもの。何度か死にかけてるので今は距離を置いてるが、環境が整い次第、必ずまた乗り始める。私はバイク中毒患者なんだ。

高い山がある島に向かう時にのるセスナ機。セスナはたまに乗るが今回はあまり揺れなかった。なぜか子供の集団に囲まれてしまい、幼稚園みたいな状況でフライト。短いフライトだったけど飲み物がちゃんと出た。グアヴァジュース。美味しい♪

後ろの席の子供は４分1、日本人の血が流れているという。前の席の二人は暇さえあれば後ろ振り返って「うぎゃ！うぎゃ！」と叫びまくる。そんな中に1時間、子供達が騒ぎ疲れたくらいに、山のある島に到着。

日本の折り紙は地味だが、昔から外国人に人気がある。折り紙を見たことがない外人にささっと鶴とか折ってプレゼントすると「一生の宝物にするよ！マイフレンド！」とか言ってめっちゃ喜ぶが、次の日にその友達の家に遊びにいったりすると分解されてて「も・・・もとに戻らねぇ（涙）」となることもよくある。最近は外国でも折り紙の本が発刊されてるようでコツコツ折り続ける老人も多いという。ボケ防止か（笑）。両手の指先を細かく使い、紙を折る作業は脳神経を刺激するのにとてもいい。アメリカには熱狂的なファンも多く存在する。

のれんはお店の顔。個性をだすため小さな工夫をしてたりする。夜の撮影なのでD500が光をどう捕らえるのかなと思ったけど、あっさりくっきり撮影。木綿の具合がきれいに写ってるし、店の中の人の様子もぼやけながら写ってる。D500は素敵なカメラだ（笑）。

ファストファッションのショップウィンドウ。子供服。４部袖くらいのフーディー。袖が少し長い。角ばったゴシック書体のアルファベットをエンボス加工してフロントに加工したのが新しいポイント。この方法はスポーツアパレルの場合、子供服はうまくいくが大人用のサイズになると大きさが足りずインパクト不足になるケースがでる。エンボス加工は着用時に加工した部分が暑く感じるので冬物に加工するのが正解。春夏シーズンにTシャツに使用すると、文字の部分が暑くてとても着てられない。このカットは光が上からなので暗めの写真に仕上がった。

日本の古い家は外国人にとても人気がある。この写真のような、からぶき屋根のとても古い家には住んだことがない。珍しいし、外国人も興味津々の様子。たぶん自分の国にない形の不動産をみると外国人はワクワクするんだろう。日本人がフランスの田舎町の小さなホテルとかに泊まって感動するのと同じような感覚かもしれない。自分で今後こういった古い家に住んでみたいと思わないが、観光客相手には人気急上昇。東京にもこういった物件は賃貸、売却ともに数え切れないほど存在する。リフォームして住む人も増えてるようだ。

この夏に新宿駅に新しくできた新南口ターミナル。観光客が「わー！」と声をだして走り寄る目玉物件のひとつ。新宿アルファベット（笑）。昼も夜も様々な人たちがこの文字に座ったり、写真をとったり、走り回ったり。デザインとしてはベタすぎるが、カラフルで人目をひく。正面から撮ることもできたが、いつもの斜めどりで撮影。晴れてたので綺麗に仕上がった。

Sitting in this character, or take a photo, or running around. The design too solid, but eye-catching colorful. It was also able to take from the front. Shot in the usual slanting up. It finished to clean because it was sunny.

鎌倉は最近好きになった街。時間があれば毎週朝ごはんを食べに行きたい。鎌倉のスタバが見たことないデザインだったので一枚撮ってみた。この横にあるお店のパンケーキが今、世界で一番気に入ってる朝ごはん。二番目に気に入ってるのは横浜のみなとみらいロイヤルパークホテル最上階の朝ごはん。両方とても美味しい。街自体は小さめだけど、小さなお店が沢山ある。しかもこだわりを持ってるお店が多くてビックリする。素敵なお店が多いので、是非足を運んで欲しい。

What I like to second the Minato Mirai Royal Park Hotel on the top floor of the breakfast in Yokohama. Both very tasty. The town itself is small, small shops have a lot. 街にあふれるピクトグラム。街の公共機関等を指し示す目印。このピクトグラムが今、とても難しくなっている。日本語以外の表記も始めたので、様々な国の言葉を無理やり入れ込むことになってしまう。日本語以外の文字とアルファベットを綺麗に並べるのはとても難しい。ましてや綺麗にレイアウトデザインするとなると、相当お金をはらって専門知識を持ったデザイナーに頼まないと、収集がつかなくなる。ので、収集がつかなくなっている。いろいろな人の役に立ちたいという気持ちはわかる。が、ゆえに難しくなってしまい、デザイン性が悪くなると人は混乱する。そしてガッカリするだろう。綺麗に修正するにはレイアウトデザインセンスに秀でた人材を用意するといいと思う。そうすれば街がわかりやすく、美しくなり、さらに人が集まる。

イギリス製の車。イギリスには、かわいい車が沢山ある。このランドレーバーもいいし、レンジローバー、ディフェンダー、ミニと車の種類もいろいろ。実際にイギリス製の車を買ったことないので、普段使うのに便利かどうかわからないけど、素敵な毎日が訪れるようなオーラがでてる。デザインも日本の車と多少違うので、面白いなと思った車に出会ったら、すぐに撮影する。車の撮影はもの自体が大きいので、いつも使ってる望遠の単焦点だとファインダーに入らないことが多い。なので、その車のかわいい部分を写真で切り取っていくような感覚で、こまごま撮影して、撮りためておく。もしも遠くからひいて撮影できるならば最高だ。

コンビニコーヒーはセブンイレブンと、ファミマが美味しい。冬は車で出かける時にファミマのカフェラテやエスプレッソを買ってから目的地に向かうことが多い。コーヒーが美味しいと気分がよくなる。たまにまずいコーヒーと出会うことがあるけど、その時のガッカリ感はハンパない（笑）。

光が綺麗にあたってるファミマコーヒーがおいてあったので、斜めからシュート。明るかったのでピントが綺麗にあった。カラーより、モノクロの方が雰囲気がでたのでフォトショップでモノクロに変換。コーヒーは大好きなので、これからも撮影し続けようと思う（≧∇≦）b。
